IAUE opens 2026/2027 Post-UTME, Direct Entry registration portal as UTME candidates with 150+ invited The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education IAUE, Port Harcourt, has officially opened its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry DE screening registration portal, inviting eligible candidates to apply for admission into various undergraduate programmes. According to the university, UTME candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME, as well as qualified Direct Entry applicants, are eligible to participate in the screening exercise. The university confirmed that the registration portal will open on
- Start date Monday, May 18, 2026 12:00 a.m.
- Closing date Sunday, June 14, 2026 11:59 p.m.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration early before the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted
- Score 150 and above in UTME
- Possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language
- Have correct UTME subject combinations for their chosen course
- Be either first-choice candidates or have changed institution to IAUE
- First Degree
- NCE
- HND
- JUPEB
- IJMB
- Cambridge A-Level certificates.
Candidates are expected to complete their application through the university’s official portal by
- Visiting the IAUE website
- Selecting “Undergraduate Studies” under the admission menu
- Clicking the 2026/2027 UTME/DE Screening Registration Portal
- Entering JAMB registration number and completing profile setup
- Paying the required screening fee online
- Printing the registration slip after completion
The registration fee is set at ₦2,000.
The university explained that the screening exercise will include:
- O’Level/A’Level certificate verification
- Academic ranking process
- Biometric validation
