However, Galatasaray are said to have rejected the approach and indicated that they do not want to part with their star striker. Reports suggest the club’s stance is firm even in the face of a substantial financial proposal. There has been some conflicting reporting over the exact figure involved, with other reports suggesting different offers or asking prices. As of Thursday, the €130 million figure should therefore be treated as a reported proposal rather than a confirmed completed bid. Osimhen joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli in 2025 for a reported €75 million, becoming the most expensive transfer in Turkish football history. He signed a contract running until 2029.
