At National Police Day, Tinubu Unveils Major Investment in Modern Law Enforcement Systems President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced a comprehensive investment plan aimed at modernising Nigeria’s law enforcement architecture during the 2026 National Police Day celebration held in Abuja.
The President unveiled the initiative as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal security, enhance policing efficiency, and improve public safety nationwide under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Speaking at the ceremony honouring officers of the Nigeria Police Force, President Tinubu said the Federal Government is committed to deploying advanced technology and modern operational tools to support crime prevention and investigation.
The investment package focuses on upgrading policing capabilities through:
