Adefisoye described the alleged disqualification as “null, void and of no effect,” maintaining that he was duly screened and cleared to contest the APC primary. He argued that the process leading to the announcement did not comply with the party’s constitution or established procedures. The former federal lawmaker insisted that neither official communication nor valid disciplinary procedures were served on him before the reports surfaced. According to him, any attempt to exclude him from the contest without due process would amount to a violation of internal democratic principles within the ruling party.
