Nigeria Will Rise Again Despite Hardship, Insecurity Anglican Primate Ndukuba Urges Hope and Unity The Primate of the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba, has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, faithful, united, and compassionate despite worsening insecurity, poverty, hunger, and economic hardship across the country, insisting that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges. Speaking at the first session of the 13th Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Abuja, Primate Ndukuba acknowledged the severe difficulties facing Nigerians, including rising insecurity, hunger, poverty, and economic distress. He called on citizens not to succumb to despair, stressing that difficult seasons are temporary and that the nation’s future remains bright if citizens hold on to faith and unity. The Anglican leader emphasized the role of the Church in supporting suffering communities, urging religious institutions and believers to become active sources of hope, healing, and compassion in society. Ndukuba also encouraged Nigerians to strengthen bonds of unity and extend kindness to those affected by hardship, noting that collective resilience is essential in overcoming national challenges. Despite the prevailing conditions, he expressed confidence that Nigeria would recover and emerge stronger, urging citizens to remain steadfast in faith and committed to positive action.
