Nigeria Revenue Service launches Rev360 tax platform in major digital overhaul The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has officially launched its new digital tax administration platform, Rev360, in a major move aimed at modernising tax collection and improving efficiency across the country. The rollout marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s shift toward a fully integrated and technology driven tax syste. According to the NRS, the platform will be implemented in phases, beginning with medium and emerging taxpayers, before expanding to larger businesses and government institutions. Officials say this structured rollout is designed to ensure system stability, smooth adoption, and minimal disruption to taxpayers nationwide. Rev360 is described as a next-generation tax system aimed at replacing fragmented manual and partially digital processes with a fully integrated, intelligent tax ecosystem.

Key goals include

  • Improved tax compliance
  • Faster processing of tax records
  • Greater transparency in revenue collection
  • Enhanced taxpayer experience through automation

The system also builds on earlier digital reforms like TaxPro Max but introduces more advanced automation and real-time reporting capabilities. The NRS says Rev360 represents Nigeria’s transition into what it calls “Tax Administration 3.0”, where tax processes are embedded into business systems and become more seamless and data-driven. This is expected to reduce manual filing and improve real-time monitoring of tax activities across the economy. NRS Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, described Rev360 as a system built to strengthen trust between taxpayers and government while supporting economic growth. He said the platform reflects a shift toward making tax administration an enabler of national development rather than a burden.
