PAAU Anyigba Receives ₦3.7bn TETFund Infrastructure Boost Under Renewed Hope Agenda Prince Abubakar Audu University PAAU, Anyigba, Kogi State, has received major infrastructure investments through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund TETFund aimed at strengthening academic, healthcare and administrative facilities in the institution. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, during the North Central leg of the Renewed Hope National Media Tour, inspected two major projects executed under TETFund’s 2024 interventions: the university’s new College of Health Sciences building and the Senate Building. The College of Health Sciences project, funded under TETFund’s 2024 intervention programme, was completed at a cost of ₦643 million, while the university’s new Senate Building, delivered under the agency’s 2024 High Impact Intervention, was undertaken at a cost of ₦3.1 billion. The projects form part of broader efforts by the Federal Government to upgrade infrastructure in tertiary institutions, improve learning environments and support the expansion of professional training and research capacity.

Officials said the new College of Health Sciences facility is expected to enhance medical education and healthcare training at the university, while the Senate Building will provide improved administrative capacity for effective institutional governance.

The investments align with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises improvements in education infrastructure, research development and human capital growth. The inspection was part of the Renewed Hope National Media Tour designed to showcase ongoing government projects and interventions across different sectors and regions of the country. Stakeholders at the university said the projects would contribute significantly to improving the institution’s ability to provide quality tertiary education and prepare students for future challenges in healthcare, research and public service.
