Nigeria Records 22,000 New HIV Infections Among Children Annually

About 160,000 Nigerian children aged between zero and 14 are living with HIV, according to Professor Prosper Okonkwo of Bingham University. The professor disclosed that Nigeria records approximately 22,000 new HIV infections among children every year, while about 15,000 AIDS-related deaths are recorded within the same period.
