Gen Z Christian Influencer Says Young Americans Are ‘tired Of Fake Stuff Turning To Jesus
Gen Z Christian influencer says young Americans are ‘tired of fake stuff,’ turning to Jesus A 22‑year‑old Christian influencer says many young Americans are increasingly turning toward faith and away from superficial social media culture as they seek deeper meaning and authenticity in their lives. Bryce Crawford, an influencer and evangelist, appeared Monday on Fox & Friends and explained that frustration with what he described as “fake stuff” and “fluff” content that offers distraction rather than fulfillment is driving younger generations toward spiritual answers. Crawford said that many in Generation Z are realizing that temporary pleasures and surface‑level pursuits fail to satisfy their search for truth and purpose. Crawford said his own journey toward faith began after battling anxiety and depression as a teenager. He shared that, at age 17, he experienced what he described as a life‑changing spiritual encounter with Jesus that brought him peace and redirected his life toward spreading the gospel. Since then, he has been leading an “I Love Jesus” tour across multiple cities, encouraging others especially young adults to explore their faith and ask meaningful questions about purpose, death, and belief. Crawford stressed the importance of intentional conversations designed to treat individuals as humans, not statistics. Crawford believes this shift reflects a broader spiritual resurgence among young people who feel unfulfilled by worldly pursuits and instead are looking for something eternal and true. “Only something eternal and perfect like Christ can truly satisfy,” he said.
