FG Deepens Defence Industry Partnerships at SAHA 2026 in Türkiye

The Federal Government of Nigeria has strengthened its defence industry partnerships with Türkiye during engagements at the SAHA 2026 International Defence and Aerospace Exhibition, as part of efforts to boost national security and advance the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Nigerian delegation, led by senior defence officials, held strategic meetings with Turkish defence industry stakeholders, focusing on technology transfer, capacity building, and long-term military-industrial cooperation.

The engagements at SAHA 2026 built on existing Nigeria–Türkiye defence relations, with both countries agreeing to expand cooperation in key areas such as

Officials described the discussions as a continuation of ongoing efforts to modernise Nigeria’s armed forces through international partnerships.
