Dangote Cement Raises Dividend by 50% as Shareholders Receive ₦753.8 Billion Payout Dangote Cement Plc has approved a 50 per cent increase in its dividend for the 2025 financial year, raising the payout from ₦30 to ₦45 per share following a strong financial performance that delivered higher revenue and profitability.

The dividend increase will see shareholders receive a total payout of ₦753.8 billion, reinforcing the company’s position as one of Nigeria’s most rewarding publicly listed firms. The approval was given at the company’s 16th Annual General Meeting AGM, where shareholders commended the board and management for sustaining growth despite prevailing economic challenges. Chairman of Dangote Cement Plc, Aliko Dangote, attributed the company’s performance to strategic investments, operational efficiency and resilience across its African markets. He noted that despite inflationary pressures, foreign exchange volatility and rising production costs, the company maintained its growth trajectory and continued to create value for investors. According to the company’s audited financial statements, revenue rose significantly during the 2025 financial year, driven by improved sales volumes in Nigeria and other African operations. Profitability also improved as management implemented cost control measures and strengthened operational performance across its production facilities.Dangote said the company remains committed to expanding production capacity, improving energy efficiency and investing in sustainable manufacturing processes to meet growing demand across the continent.
