Apple has agreed to compensate customers who bought certain iPhone models after a lawsuit accused the company of misleading users about promised artificial intelligence features. The technology giant will pay up to $250 million £198 million to settle a class-action lawsuit linked to delayed or unavailable AI tools promoted during product launches.. The case focused on Apple’s promotion of its new artificial intelligence system, known as Apple Intelligence, which included a more advanced version of Siri and other AI-powered tools. Customers alleged that Apple advertised these features as available at launch, but many were either missing or significantly delayed when devices reached buyers.
