APC USA chapter endorses Tinubu’s reforms, backs 2027 presidential candidacy The United States chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms and described his emergence as the party’s 2027 presidential candidate as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership and transformation agenda. The endorsement was contained in a statement issued by the chapter’s chairman, Tai Balofin, who said the party’s members in the diaspora strongly support the direction of the current administration under Tinubu. According to the statement, the APC USA chapter said Nigerians and party stakeholders had already demonstrated broad support for Tinubu’s leadership through internal party processes, particularly the presidential primaries that positioned him as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 election cycle. The group acknowledged that the country is currently facing economic hardship but insisted that the reforms being implemented by the Tinubu administration are necessary steps toward long-term economic stability and national development. It added that the policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda are designed to rebuild the economy through fiscal discipline, improved revenue generation, structural reforms, and targeted investments in key sectors of the economy.

The chapter further urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, stating that meaningful economic transformation often comes with short-term difficulties before delivering lasting benefits. It also commended the APC leadership for what it described as peaceful and credible party processes, while calling for unity among members ahead of the 2027 general elections. The endorsement adds to a series of similar statements from APC groups and affiliated organisations both within and outside Nigeria, signalling continued political alignment around President Tinubu’s leadership as the country moves toward the next election cycle.
