Akinpelu Congratulates Olu of Warri on Fifth Coronation Anniversary

Professor Akin Akinpelu, Ambassador for Political Affairs, African Union Agenda 2063, has congratulated His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, CFR, the Olu of Warri Kingdom, and his wife, Her Majesty Olori Atuwatse III, on the fifth anniversary of the monarch’s coronation. In a congratulatory message, Akinpelu described the milestone as five years of visionary leadership, purposeful service and commitment to the progress of the Warri Kingdom and Nigeria. He commended the Olu for promoting peace, preserving and strengthening cultural heritage, advancing education, empowering young people and supporting sustainable development initiatives during his five-year reign. Akinpelu also praised Olori Atuwatse III for her contributions to education, women and youth empowerment, healthcare and humanitarian services, describing her efforts as an important part of the royal couple’s impact. The AU Agenda 2063 ambassador expressed his appreciation on behalf of his office and prayed for continued wisdom, good health and grace for the royal couple. He further wished the Olu of Warri and Olori Atuwatse III a peaceful and impactful reign, with many more years of purposeful service to the Warri Kingdom and humanity. The Olu of Warri was crowned on August 21, 2021, making August 21, 2026 the fifth anniversary of his coronation.
