The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, conveyed the message of the administration of President Bola Tinubu, stressing that the government remains firm in its resolve to restore peace and stability across the nation. According to the statement, the Tinubu-led administration insists that ongoing security challenges will not weaken its determination to protect citizens or maintain national sovereignty. The government emphasized that security agencies are being supported with renewed resources and operational backing under the “Renewed Hope Agenda,” aimed at strengthening counter-terrorism and anti-banditry operations nationwide.
