Joshua’s Passing Thousands of worshippers, ministers, dignitaries and church partners from across the world gathered in Lagos to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the passing of Nigerian televangelist and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations SCOAN, Temitope Balogun Joshua, widely known as T.B. Joshua. The event, themed “Rejoicing With the Saints,” was held at the Synagogue Church of All Nations and broadcast globally on Emmanuel TV. The anniversary gathering brought together attendees from numerous countries and cultural backgrounds to celebrate the life, ministry and humanitarian work of the late cleric, who died on June 5, 2021. Organizers described the occasion as both a memorial and a celebration of a legacy that continues to influence millions of followers worldwide. The programme featured worship sessions, musical performances, testimonies and tributes highlighting Joshua’s impact on individuals, communities and religious institutions across different continents. Hosts guided participants through an evening dedicated to reflecting on the late preacher’s teachings, charitable activities and spiritual influence. International gospel artists participated in the event, including Byron Cage, Christina Shusho, Kings Mumbi Malembe and Brian Courtney Wilson.
