VP Shettima FG Will Engage More With Stakeholders To Deepen Humanitarian Responses Vice President Kashim Shettima has reiterated that the Federal Government will intensify engagement with key stakeholders to strengthen and deepen humanitarian responses across Nigeria. He made this known while addressing issues around coordination of humanitarian interventions under the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Shettima emphasized that the government is committed to building a more coordinated system that brings together public institutions, development partners, and humanitarian organisations to respond more effectively to crises affecting vulnerable communities. He noted that improved collaboration is essential to ensuring that relief efforts reach those most in need in a timely and transparent manner.

According to the Vice President, the administration is working to eliminate duplication of efforts and improve accountability in the delivery of humanitarian support across the country. He stressed that the government is prioritising efficiency in resource allocation while ensuring that interventions are sustainable and impactful. Shettima linked the initiative to President Tinubu’s broader Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to strengthen governance, improve welfare systems, and enhance national resilience.

He reaffirmed that humanitarian response remains a key pillar of the administration’s development strategy, especially in addressing displacement, poverty, and disaster-related challenges. The Vice President assured Nigerians that the Federal Government remains committed to deepening partnerships with both local and international stakeholders to improve the country’s humanitarian architecture.
