Akpabio Urges States to Emulate Lagos Development Model, Praises Sanwo-Olu’s Governance

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on Nigerian states to adopt Lagos State’s development model, commending Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his infrastructural transformation, fiscal discipline, and commitment to efficient service delivery.

Akpabio made the remarks during the commissioning of key infrastructure projects in Lagos, where he represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing Lagos as a shining example of modern governance and sustainable urban development According to the Senate President, Lagos has demonstrated how visionary leadership, prudent financial management, and consistent investment in infrastructure can accelerate economic growth and improve citizens’ quality of life.
