Police Arrest Suspect for Attacking Okada Rider, Recover Gun and Motorcycle in Ogun The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a suspected armed robber, Matthew Adebisi, for allegedly attacking a commercial motorcyclist and stealing his motorcycle in the Sabo area of the state. The arrest followed a swift response by police operatives after receiving a distress report about an assault on an okada rider who was reportedly attacked while carrying out his daily business. According to police authorities, the suspect allegedly used a locally made pistol to assault the motorcyclist before carting away the motorcycle, believing the victim had been incapacitated. Police spokespersons disclosed that detectives immediately launched a manhunt after the incident was reported. Acting on intelligence, officers tracked down and arrested Adebisi, leading to the recovery of the stolen motorcycle. Security operatives also recovered the firearm allegedly used during the attack, strengthening evidence against the suspect.
