Tinubu Receives Muslim World League Secretary-General Sheikh Al Issa President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received the Secretary General of the Muslim World League MWL, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, in Nigeria. The meeting focused on strengthening relations between Nigeria and the Muslim World League, as well as promoting dialogue, religious tolerance, peace and cooperation between communities. Sheikh Al-Issa is a prominent Islamic scholar and Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, an international organisation headquartered in Saudi Arabia that promotes Islamic solidarity, moderation and cooperation. The engagement comes as Nigeria continues to seek stronger partnerships with international religious and cultural organisations on issues including peaceful coexistence, interfaith dialogue and social development.
