Ogun NANS Commends Abiodun’s Infrastructure and Security Investments The National Association of Nigerian Students NANS, Ogun State Joint Campus Council JCC, has praised Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration for approving infrastructure, housing, and security projects across the state, describing the initiatives as strategic investments aimed at improving students’ welfare and supporting socio-economic development. The student body said the projects would have a positive impact on learning conditions, campus environments, and the overall well-being of students in Ogun State. It noted that investments in infrastructure and security were essential to creating a safer and more conducive atmosphere for academic activities. According to NANS Ogun JCC, improved educational infrastructure, better accommodation facilities, and strengthened security measures would contribute significantly to student development and help address some of the challenges facing young people in the state. The association commended Governor Abiodun for prioritising projects that it said align with the needs of students and residents, adding that such interventions demonstrate a commitment to sustainable development and youth empowerment. The student leaders also encouraged continued collaboration between the state government, educational institutions, and student organisations to ensure that development programmes effectively address the concerns of young Nigerians.

Ogun State, which hosts several higher institutions, including federal, state, and private universities, has continued to focus on infrastructure upgrades and security initiatives as part of efforts to support education and economic growth.
