The operation led to the arrest of two suspected arms manufacturers and suppliers, as well as the recovery of five locally fabricated AK-47 rifles, according to military authorities. The suspects are currently in military custody undergoing preliminary interrogation. Authorities say investigations are ongoing to identify additional members of the syndicate, as well as their financiers and wider distribution network. Military officials also confirmed that the operation was conducted in collaboration with other security agencies, describing it as a significant breakthrough in efforts to weaken armed groups operating in the region. The Theatre Command commended the troops for the successful raid and urged residents of the North-West to continue providing timely and credible intelligence to security agencies to support ongoing counterterrorism operations.
