2027 APC Campaign Council Reshuffles Youth, Women Mobilisation Teams The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced changes to the leadership of its youth and women mobilisation teams ahead of the 2027 general elections. The council also created a new Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management as part of efforts to strengthen its organisational structure, improve coordination and enhance operational efficiency in preparation for President Bola Tinubu’s re election campaign. The appointments were announced by Imo State Governor and Secretary of the PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, Hope Uzodimma, in a statement. Under the new arrangement, Farouk Adamu Aliyu was appointed director of the newly created Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, while Adejare Bello was named co-director. For the Directorate of Youth Mobilisation, Minister of Youth Development Ayodele Olawande was appointed director, with Dayo Israel named deputy director. The council also appointed Mary Aille Idele as director of the Directorate of Women Mobilisation. Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu, will serve as deputy director, while Imaan Suleman was named secretary of the directorate. Uzodimma said the adjustments followed the inauguration of the presidential campaign council and were intended to establish a coordinated and inclusive structure capable of mobilising support for Tinubu’s re-election bid. He said the appointees were expected to bring their experience, commitment and organisational skills to bear on their respective responsibilities. The council also urged the newly appointed officials to work closely with other directorates and campaign structures to ensure effective coordination and implementation of its mobilisation strategies. The changes highlight the campaign council’s focus on mobilising young people and women, two important voter groups, as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The youth and women mobilisation directorates are expected to coordinate outreach efforts, engage supporters and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence. The council expressed confidence that the new structure would improve its ability to reach Nigerians across different communities and build support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
