🚨 Police Investigate After Car Crashes Into House in Bishopbriggs
Police in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, have launched an investigation after a car crashed into a residential property early Saturday morning, causing significant damage to the building.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 6 a.m. following reports of a vehicle losing control and colliding with the front of a semi-detached house.
No fatalities have been confirmed, but authorities say at least one person sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The occupants of the house were said to be “shaken but unharmed.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
“Officers were called to a road traffic collision involving a car and a property in Bishopbriggs. Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
Fire crews also attended to assess structural damage to the property and ensure the area was safe.
Local residents described hearing “a loud bang” followed by shouting and emergency sirens.
