A video has captured the final moments of Ibrahim Musa Gusau as President of the Nigeria Football Federation NFF before he stepped down from the position after nearly four years in charge. The NFF president said his decision followed consultations with his family, friends and football stakeholders. He also advised members of the NFF Executive Committee who were willing to do so to resign alongside him. The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while the Super Falcons also missed out on the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup after losing to South Africa in an intercontinental playoff.
