Surrey Police Probe Historical Child Abuse Allegations Linked to Epstein Files Police in the United Kingdom have launched investigations into two separate allegations of non-recent child sexual abuse following the release of documents connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. According to Surrey Police, the allegations emerged after information contained in files released by the United States Department of Justice prompted renewed scrutiny into possible offences linked to Epstein’s network.In a statement, the police force said one of the reported incidents relates to locations in Surrey and Berkshire between the mid-1990s and 2000, while the second allegation concerns events said to have occurred in West Surrey during the mid-to-late 1980s. Authorities confirmed that no arrests have been made so far. Surrey Police stated that investigators are pursuing “reasonable lines of enquiry” to verify the information and establish corroborating evidence connected to the claims. The development follows an earlier public appeal issued in February after a redacted FBI report allegedly referenced human trafficking and sexual assaults involving a minor in Virginia Water, Surrey, between 1994 and 1996. Police said they initially found no matching records in their system but later received fresh reports following the public appeal. The investigations form part of wider efforts by several UK police forces reviewing material connected to Epstein after millions of pages of files were released in the United States earlier this year. Authorities have stressed that the inquiries remain ongoing and that further details will only be released when appropriate.
