It’s Hollywood’s biggest night of the year, as the film industry gathers in Los Angeles for the latest edition of the Academy Awards, widely known as the Oscars The 98th Oscars ceremony celebrates the best films and performances of 2025, with stars, filmmakers and fans watching to see who will take home the coveted golden statuettes. The ceremony takes place on 15 March 2026 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The event is broadcast live in the United States on American Broadcasting Company and streamed online on Hulu, with international broadcasters carrying the show worldwide.
Comedian and talk-show host Conan O’Brien returns to host the ceremony for the second year in a row after receiving positive reviews for last year’s show. The vampire thriller Sinners leads this year’s nominations with 16 nods, the most of any film.
