The development was confirmed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, who said the Board is finalising processes that will allow candidates to access their official result slips, which are essential for admission screening and ranking into tertiary institutions across Nigeria. According to the Board, the delay in activating result slip printing was linked to the completion of outstanding examination processes, including mop-up examinations and final result harmonisation for affected candidates. JAMB explained that the UTME result slip is not just a score document but also contains candidate ranking information, which is used by institutions during admission selection. With the new update, admission processing across universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education is expected to begin once candidates begin accessing and printing their result slips. Officials say institutions rely on the slips to verify candidates’ performance and complete admission screening exercises for the upcoming academic session.

The Board has assured candidates that the process will be completed within the announced timeframe, urging them to remain patient as system finalisation continues.
