EKSU Alumni Diaspora Director Mobilises Support for Oyebanji’s Re election The Director of Diaspora Mobilisation of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Solidarity Group, Opeyemi Allen-Alebiosu, has called on eligible voters across Ekiti State to support the re-election bid of Biodun Oyebanji in the June 20 governorship election. Speaking on behalf of the alumni group, Alebiosu urged residents to consolidate the gains recorded under the Oyebanji administration by returning the governor for a second term. He said the governor’s leadership style, commitment to inclusive governance, and developmental initiatives have earned him broad support among stakeholders within and outside the state. The group noted that Governor Oyebanji’s administration has promoted unity among political leaders, engaged key stakeholders in decision-making, and implemented programmes aimed at improving infrastructure, education, agriculture, tourism, and economic development in Ekiti State. Alebiosu further encouraged members of the EKSU alumni community, particularly those in the diaspora, to continue supporting initiatives that foster sustainable development and investment in the state. According to him, the upcoming election presents an opportunity for voters to endorse continuity and stability in governance.The endorsement comes amid growing support for the incumbent governor from various political, professional, and community groups ahead of the governorship poll scheduled for June 20, 2026.
