Jonathan Gjoshe has spoken publicly about surviving a mass stabbing aboard a London-bound train in Cambridgeshire, saying he was attacked without warning while sitting quietly during the journey. “I was on the train, just chilling,” the footballer describing how a man suddenly approached and stabbed him multiple times. Gjoshe said he suffered seven stab wounds during the attack but is thankful to have survived. The incident happened on an LNER service travelling from Doncaster to London King’s Cross near Huntingdon on 1 November 2025.
